From Marine to Mission-Driven Entrepreneur
I’m Lucas, the founder of Share a Biz, and my journey here has been anything but conventional. As a Marine infantryman, I served in Iraq on two combat deployments. Those experiences, coupled with the privilege of traveling to other countries through nonprofit work, taught me resilience, compassion, and the value of not giving up when things get hard.
Growing up, I didn’t have much—at one point, my family even lived in a tent. It was a humbling experience, but it was nothing compared to the extreme poverty, injustice, and corruption I witnessed around the world. These experiences ignited a desire to make a real difference, and I realized we only have a few short years on this earth to create meaningful change.
That’s why my family and I are on a mission to build something bigger than just a business—a platform that empowers people everywhere to earn, grow, and take control of their future. The Birth of Share a Biz
I initially pursued a degree in Environmental Science because of my love for the outdoors. But I soon realized that making a lasting impact requires resources—and that led me to explore business. Over the years, I tried just about everything:
