I recently rented a storage locker near my house. The interaction with the person on the phone was very talkative and they seemed to want to always go on and on and on. It should have been a simple rental procedure completed in three minutes or less. This is the second time my family has rented from this company. There seems to be a disconnect between the code you're given and the actual code to open the gate and get into my storage. I had to get a temporary code to go in and start storing stuff. When I returned in thirty minutes, that code was invalid. I messed around with my original code and realized you have to push the (*) asterisk key twice before your code will work - **23585329#

Unsatisfied!! Reported water in our unit in Sept 2025 but had no damage to our personal items. A tree growing in the gutter was removed however the damaged gutter was never addressed or the seal on the door. Now, May 2026 we discover standing water in our unit. We found our belongings standing in water!!!! Our belongings are growing with mold and everything smells mildewy. The unit has water damage and mold growing on the walls. We asked to move our belongings to a different unit due to the MOLD. We were told we could pay to upgrade to a different unit and file a claim for our damages 😡 We’ll be taking our business elsewhere

I've held a unit there for 8 years now. In that time there has been three different owners Trusty Storage, KO storage and the current Storage Rentals of America. I have a 10x20 and started paying $85 a month and my current rate is $170, with almost all of the increase taking place in the last three years. The year-round access is not a reality unless you have a shovel, an ice chipper and a lot of salt because the way the snow is plowed in the winter leaves a bank against your units door, which then forms a puddle that in turn freezes. Last year, I had a really hard time gaining access to get my Christmas tree and decorations out. Putting them back took several trips and a lot of time spent chipping away at the ice in freezing conditions. It will probably be more challenging this year, now

Easy access and great customer service everytime. My auto pay some how got shut off, so they called me to reset it up, or I'd have a late payment. A few months back I thought I had autopay set up and I was a couple weeks late via email notice; I called and received a late fee forgiveness.

Not the best so far. My garage code didn’t work for 2 days. We tried calling the office but had to leave voicemail and sent an email because of their office hours. It would be helpful to know that we rent a garage but we can’t get access for 24-48 hours so you lose 1-2 days of garage use off the bat.
