I'm a designer and I love to specify Crystal cabinets. They are excellent quality, have endless standard options, the finishes are absolutely beautiful, and they are fully customizable. I feel confident when I specify Crystal cabinets for my clients because I know what they are going to get.
I am disappointed in the quality of these cabinets. They were installed a couple weeks ago and I’m just not sure how the faces are going to hold up. They look ok from a distance but the veneer is very thin and I cannot believe how terrible the quality of the open shelving is. The trim around the frames doesn’t match at all and Crystal told the reseller that this is acceptable. It is not veneer but laminate and it looks so cheap. This is natural alder btw. The cabinets also have a kind of sheen to them that I don’t care for. Again, just looks cheap and like it won’t hold up. We paid 20K+ for these in a tiny kitchen. Blah.
As someone who sells cabinets, I can confirm this business is all about craftsmanship, customer service, and they have life-long employees- says a lot about the company. I toured the factory and it was absolutely amazing. 10/10 experience
My wife and I have been fixing up homes for 20 years and have never experienced a company that is this poorly ran. We have used Crystal 3 times in previous years with success. This last purchase is a nightmare. We are going past 6 months and they are still not fixing their massive mistake. On a very large kitchen job, they sent us 2 completely different door styles and draws. Gave the wrong silverware insert, 3 of the wrong cabinets and small trim pieces missing. Thats not the bad part, how they are making up for their mistake is the pathetic part. Round 2 of "fixing" the issue they sent the wrong doors AGAIN!
