I don’t hand out five-star reviews lightly, but Affordable Transmission in Princeton, Minnesota, absolutely earned it. I’ve had my vehicles serviced at many shops over many years, and I can honestly say I’ve never experienced this level of customer service, communication, and overall care anywhere else. My truck is a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500, and anyone who has dealt with newer trucks knows things are not “simple” anymore, especially when you’re talking about transmission work, electronics, and the newer-style TCU (transmission control unit) that adds complexity to diagnosing and repairing the issue the right way not to mention the other mechanicals. I highly recommend Affordable Transmission for any of your service needs. They truly take pride in their work! They are honest, affordable, and truly care about their customers! They did not make me feel like just a ‘customer’ I felt as though they took care of my vehicle as if it was their own vehicle, they were patient with my questions and throughly explained the needs of my vehicle. Just a complete gem of a business!

I took my car to the nearest place when my transmission was going out, which was a car dealer. They diagnosed it wrong and my repair would have been astronomical. Had my car towed somewhere else, they diagnosed it but could not fix it... Affordable Transmiission came to the rescue and saved me money. Great customer service too. Thank you!

First off I'd like to thank everyone at this shop. I had my Chevy Silverado towed from Saint Paul for a transmission rebuild & Affordable Transmission had me back on the road within a week. They're very knowledgeable when it comes to these types of things. When I picked up the truck, Jared brought me in the shop & showed me the parts that failed & what was replaced. Highly recommend coming here for your vehicle needs.
