We tried hiring pioneer to cut down a tree. They were so helpful, until they weren’t. We had them scheduled to come cut the tree down, but the day of the owner came out instead and he had hope that we could save the tree and just trim the dead branches off. Fast forward a few hours, we had our tree treated with no paper work, nothing to show for it and out $700 dollars and still haven’t had the rest taken care of (it’s coming up on a month now) First I was told “some time next week” and that week came and went, then was told “maybe tomorrow” than it was “Maybe Tuesday next week”. I understand the job is weather dependent, but how in the world do they not know how to schedule people out?? I feel like we were played and conned into spending money to treat a tree that can’t be saved and now h

Pioneer Tree Service cut down 3 trees and left a large number of branches, twigs, and leaves in the yard and street. It's been 2 weeks now and they still have not cleaned up. Highly recommend searching "tree service near me" on google to find other reputable tree companies.

Very professional would highly recommend this company! They came on time and cleaned everything up after the big storms that came and took trees down! Very respectful I will definitely be using this company to come back and trim some more trees this summer! Thank You for making my yard Beautiful Again

I've had John and crew from Pioneer Tree Service to our house a few times and they always do a great job. Big trees are no problem for them. The last time we had several big oaks taken down and everything came of without a hitch. John is great to work with and talk to, he'll offer his insight on your plans and the crew works hard and clearly know what they are doing. And Pioneer doesn't gouge you with the price, they are fair and reasonable. Excellent work, highly recommended.

Zach and Jeff and the rest of the crew were fantastic! I was really impressed when they asked if we wanted mats put down so they wouldn’t leave black marks on the cement driveway. They left the yard and driveway at least as clean as it was before they did their GREAT work of removing 3 ash trees that were infected with ash borer. And the trim work done on the remaining ash we are having them treat for ash borer looks tremendous after their trim work!! And excellent price considering all that had to be done! Jenny in the office can’t be beat!! Lisa, the arborist is very knowledgeable!! And meeting John, the original owner was a real treat, too!! Great family business and employees too!! Hire ‘em!!
