I went shopping for my bathroom, and I told the cashier what was up. He told me how to fix it and said the prices might be off 'cause of the merger. He also asked for ideas. Eric said they want to stay open for us. They're trying to improve. Their new guy, Mike, knows his stuff. You should shop there and give them ideas so we can keep a hardware store nearby.

Hardware Hank in Sartell is honestly one of my favorite stores. Every time I go in, they have exactly what I need. The guy at the counter is always more than willing to walk around with you, help you find things, or even help you pick out the right item for the job. Prices are reasonable, the service is unmatched, and I’d recommend this place over the big-box stores any day. A smaller business that’s truly doing it right.

Purchased an item. Clearly listed $7.49. Checked out and realized they charged me $8.99. Asked the guy about it, said prices are changing and he can’t do anything about it. I recommended to change the price on the display so a customer knows what they are paying. Have had similar experiences since the change of ownership.

I hesitate while writing this because it is public, but after multiple negative experiences I felt the need. Sartell Hardware Hank has really gone downhill now that it is under new ownership. The entire store is disorganized, messy, and just an eyesore for this community. I went to buy a tinted stain and the owner did not know how to use the machine to add the tint to the stain. Like, at all! He didn’t even know that it was possible. I then went back to purchase some summer flowers. The prices were outrageous, and at least half of my flowers were dead or moldy by the end of June. I made my final trip today to purchase a birdfeeder which I thought would be a simple in and out. None of them had price tags on them, and at least five of the 10 that were available as options were broken or m
