I first heard about Emerald a couple years ago when I read about their company employees delivering cases of bottled water to folks standing in the sun waiting for an event at SCSU. I thought, "I want to do business with a company like that!" I've done business with several other lawn care companies for lawn treatment, but my disappointment is that they're here and gone. I question the amt I pay for the few minutes they're here. Emerald is thorough and always has time to chat about what they're noticing about my lawn. Definitely recommend!

One of the two guys that thatched my lawn this summer hit a post on my deck. Owner came and looked at it and agreed that they hit it along with the long black scuff mark on my post.. Had his contractor look at it and they said it had had been damaged before the service. He told me that I was on my own in regards to fixing my deck via email and not in person!! Very disappointed with this company and will never do business with them again!! Thatching service was great but the deck repairs were not.

Complete lack of professionalism, tried contacting this company numerous times by phone call, email and letter with total disregard to the fact their equipment shattered my car window. They refuse to take accountability of the situation and do the right thing. The worker was riding a mower and texting on the phone at the same time, running over things they shouldn’t and not paying attention.

Emerald has done an amazing job of keeping our parking lot snow free, and our sidewalks shoveled out and salted. Our patients and staff appreciate the diligence and timeliness! Awesome job! Also the owner really helped our business out in a pinch with some flooding from the snow melt and rain. Great person to do business with.

Emerald takes on landscaping jobs that are out of their range of skill. I experienced it and heard the same thing from others. They quit our job because we held back a small amount of money to ensure they corrected mistakes and finished the job. They advertise "we've seen everything" but apparently not in our case. We were very glad we held back a $700 because we hired a sprinkler company and paid $1000 to repair our sprinkler system after Emerald left the job. Emerald had chopped off an entire corner or our system and did not hook it back up. We talked with them multiple times about the area but Mark acted like he had no idea how to diagnose or fix the problem. He suggested that maybe there were never heads in that area. And made no attempt to fix it. The foreman had not mapped the syste
