This Privacy Policy explains how Share a Biz LLC ("Share a Biz," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform, website, and services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

a. Information you provide: business name, contact name, email, phone, service areas (ZIP codes), business details, plan selection, and payment information (processed by our payment processor).

b. Customer information submitted through referrals: when a business sends a referral or lead, we collect information about the referred customer, such as name, address, phone, email, and job details. This information is provided by the referring business.

c. Automatically collected: usage data, device/browser information, and similar technical data when you use the Platform.

We use information to: operate and provide the Platform; facilitate referrals, leads, and matching between businesses; process payments, commissions, and payouts; send transactional messages (e.g., notifications, confirmations); communicate with you; prevent fraud and enforce our Terms; comply with law; and improve the Platform.

a. With other businesses: referral and customer information is shared with the receiving business so they can serve the referred customer. Business profile information may be visible to other businesses in your area within the network.

b. With service providers: we use third-party services to operate, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS), and our hosting/database provider (Supabase/Lovable). These providers process data on our behalf.

c. For legal reasons: we may share information to comply with law, respond to legal requests, or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Platform.

d. Business transfers: if Share a Biz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred.

We do not sell personal information.

Customer information submitted through referrals is shared with the receiving business solely to fulfill the referred job. Receiving businesses are required to use it only for that purpose and to comply with applicable privacy and anti-spam laws. We retain information as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. To make a request, contact connect@shareabiz.com. You may opt out of non-essential communications. We will respond as required by applicable law.

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Platform is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Policy and will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
